I was born in historic town of Sopore in Kashmir valley situated in the trouble torn state of Jammu & Kashmir on 5-11-1961. I had my basic and secondary education at Srinagar and Sopore . I completed by Bachelors degree in Agriculture sciences from Ch. Charan Singh University U.P in the year 1984. I Joined Government of J&K as an employee in 1985. Having worked for J&K Agriculture Production Department and J&K Tourism Department for more than 31 years under different capacities I am an expert in Landscaping , Agriculture & Turf Management . I have completed my higher studies in the field of Turf management and Landscaping from University of Massachusetts-USA in the year 2012-2013. Presently, I work for J&K State Agriculture Production Department.
I am a free-lancer and write regularly on issues pertaining to society, environment and politics. Presently my articles feature regularly in Daily Greater Kashmir (LINK) a leading daily newspaper from Jammu & Kashmir.
I love gardening, writing and reading. I enjoy playing Golf in my leisure time.
